29 October 2025 12:58
Head of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's office, Arayik Harutyunyan, has confirmed that the government will not pursue early elections, barring any unforeseen catastrophic event.
“We will not hold early elections unless a catastrophic event occurs,” Arutyunyan told journalists, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to the regular electoral schedule, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Addressing speculation from political partners and commentators calling for early polls, he added, “We have partners who are talking about early elections. But we have assessed that there is no need for this. We are proceeding to the regular elections. Please, do not look for unnecessary intrigue.”
