Armenia considers creation of military tribunal

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the country is considering the issue of establishing a military tribunal.

"There are specialized courts in Armenia. The issue of establishing a military tribunal is also on the agenda," Pahinyan said, Caliber.Az reports quoting local media.

"Do you mean that I have to agree to be tried and shot? After the 2020 war, I went out to the people and said: if you think I should be shot, I will obediently stand against the wall," Pashinyan said, commenting on the question of his willingness to stand trial himself.

According to him, if at some point the people decide to do so, he again is ready to obey.

"If you want to, then shoot...Unequivocally, I agree," Pashinyan noted.
