Armenia declares retired General Grigory Khachaturov wanted

Retired Major General Grigory Khachaturov has been declared wanted in Armenia, as per a local news website Shamshyan.com.

According to the outlet, the son of former CSTO Secretary-General Yuri Khachaturov is being sought under two articles of Armenia’s Criminal Code:
— Article 436: “Giving a bribe by a group of persons in prior collusion”;
— Article 549: “Abuse or exceeding of official authority resulting in serious harm to a person through negligence.”

In addition, Khachaturov is already under investigation in a separate criminal case involving the “legalisation of large-scale real estate acquired through criminal means using official position,” the report says.
