Armenia detains person charged with espionage

Press secretary of the Armenian Investigative Committee Gor Abrahamyan has said that Sarkis Galstyan arrived in Armenia’s Goris town from Karabakh and was detained.

Galstyan charged with espionage and his wife arrived in Armenia from Khankendi of their own will through the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.

During the years of occupation of Karabakh he was the director of a hotel in Shusha, while in the 1990s he was an activist who stood for public diplomacy and visited Baku very often.
