He made these remarks at a meeting of the Armenian Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence and Security while presenting the agreement signed between the Armenian ministry and the Europol.
The agreement is aimed at expanding cooperation in the fight against transnational crime, in particular, drug trafficking, misappropriation of assets, cybercrime, money laundering, trafficking and other spheres.
Armenia will appoint a liaison officer to Europol as part of the agreement. The Armenian representative will have a residence in the Netherlands and will have access to Europol's confidential database.
