Russia denies reports of mobile internet restrictions in Moscow

Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development has denied reports that mobile internet would be restricted in Moscow.

“There are no plans to shut down or restrict mobile internet in Moscow on June 25, and the reports circulating online are fake,” the ministry said.

The statement comes after online reports claimed that authorities were preparing to disable or limit mobile internet access in the capital on that date.
