Armenia eyes bigger agricultural exports to Kazakhstan

Armenia is seeking to expand its agricultural and food exports to Kazakhstan, with wine, fruit and vegetable products and aquaculture among the sectors identified as having the greatest potential, Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said during a meeting in Almaty with Kazakhstan’s Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov.

The two ministers discussed ways to deepen cooperation in agriculture, increase bilateral trade, pursue joint investment projects and expand the exchange of modern agricultural technologies and expertise, according to Armenian media cited by Caliber.Az.

Papoyan emphasized the potential for a significant increase in Armenian agricultural and food exports to the Kazakh market, particularly in wine production, fruit and vegetable products and aquaculture.
