Armenia, Georgia agreed on extradition of illegal residents

Armenia and Georgia have ratified a readmission agreement allowing the mutual return of citizens residing illegally in the other country, as well as the extradition of wanted persons. 

The Armenian government approved the document at its latest meeting, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media. 

According to Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, the agreement enables both countries to locate and return Armenian and Georgian nationals living unlawfully across the border, as well as third-country citizens and stateless individuals who committed offences in one country and are hiding in the other.
