Armenia, Greece approve military cooperation plan for 2023
Armenia and Greece approved on March 30 a military cooperation plan for 2023.
As Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media, the news came from the Armenian Embassy in Greece.
It is noted that the document was signed by the head of the department of defence policy and international cooperation of the Armenian Defense Ministry Levon Ayvazyan and the director of the international relations department of the General Staff of Greece Vasilios Tsami.
The cooperation plan includes 21 events, of which 15 are planned to be held in Greece, and 6 in Armenia. The program includes joint training and exchange of experience of special forces, air defence units, training of cyber units, and peacekeeping forces.
A key component of cooperation will also be cooperation between the intelligence communities of the two countries.
The cooperation plan confirms the strong military ties between the two countries and strengthens the operational capabilities of their armed forces.
