Türkiye moves to turn tourism season into year-round attraction

Türkiye plans to make its tourism season a year-round one and expand tourism activity across all 81 provinces, Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said in a post on X.

He noted that every corner of Türkiye has beauty “waiting to be discovered” as well as history “waiting to be told.”

“We are working to spread tourism across four seasons and 81 provinces, while preserving our natural and cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations,” the minister wrote.

Ersoy emphasized that Türkiye attracts tourists from around the world thanks to its cultural heritage, hospitality and natural beauty. He added that preserving cultural and natural assets and passing them on to future generations is one of the key elements of Türkiye’s national tourism policy.
