Armenia imposes travel ban on ex-President Sargsyan

Former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has been placed under a travel restriction as a pretrial measure in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation.
The case also names former President Robert Kocharyan and his son, Sedrak Kocharyan, among the defendants, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Sedrak Kocharyan and three other individuals have been arrested, while another defendant, Aramais Voskanyan, has been placed under house arrest.
Voskanyan’s wife and two daughters have also been taken into custody, according to the reports.
Voskanyan served as the head of household management at Armenia’s government residences from 1999 to 2009.
