Armenia, India discuss defence cooperation as ministers meet in Yerevan

Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan met his Indian counterpart Rajesh Kumar Singh in Yerevan on August 17 to discuss defence and military-technical cooperation between the two countries.

Singh arrived in Armenia for an official visit, the Armenian Defence Ministry said.

Papikyan welcomed the progress made in bilateral cooperation, while the two ministers discussed defence ties and military-technical cooperation, according to the ministry.

They also exchanged views on regional and international security issues.

India’s Ambassador to Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Sinha, attended the meeting.
