Armenia investigates foreign bikers’ access to frontline without checks
Armenia’s Ministry of Defence has launched an internal investigation after a Swiss citizen on a motorcycle rode up to a frontline military position without being stopped.
The individual was identified as Sandro Schmid, who recently travelled through Armenia, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

During his trip, he managed to reach a military outpost where he encountered Armenian soldiers.
A video posted online by Schmid shows troops engaging in casual conversation with him, rather than detaining him for entering a restricted zone.
The footage also captures the soldiers using profane language while speaking with the visitor.
The Defence Ministry confirmed it is now examining the circumstances of the incident.
