Armenia launches recruitment drive for border guard officers, senior sergeants

The Border Troops of the National Security Service of Armenia have announced an extensive recruitment campaign to fill officer and senior sergeant positions within units tasked with securing the nation’s borders.

Eligible candidates for officer roles must be male citizens of Armenia possessing a higher education degree. Meanwhile, applicants for senior non-commissioned officer (sergeant) positions are required to have completed at least secondary education and fulfilled the country’s mandatory conscription service, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

The recruitment drive offers competitive remuneration packages, with salaries described as “high” and supplemented by performance-based bonuses awarded following official evaluations. Additionally, enlisted personnel will receive official service housing and benefit from a range of social protections and privileges guaranteed under Armenian military legislation.
