Armenia, Lithuania agree on military cooperation
On February 6, bilateral defence consultations were held between the Defence Ministries of Armenia and Lithuania at the administrative complex of the Defence Ministry of Armenia.
According to the source, Levon Ayvazyan, head of the Defence Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Armenian Defense Ministry, briefed Algirdas Norkus, head of the International Relations and Action Group of the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defense, about the issues of security and reforms implemented in the defence sphere, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
The current progress and prospects of cooperation between Armenia and Lithuania in the defence sphere were discussed and a number of agreements were reached.
At the end of the consultations, the Program of Cooperation for 2024 between the Armenian and Lithuanian defence ministries was signed.
