Armenia, Luxembourg formalise strategic partnership with joint declaration
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Luxembourg — Ararat Mirzoyan and Xavier Bettel — have signed a joint declaration establishing a strategic partnership between the two countries.
According to Caliber.Az, citing Armenian media, the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service said the document was signed during the ministers’ meeting held on December 16 in Luxembourg.
During the talks, the two sides confirmed the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Luxembourg, emphasising that relations are developing on the basis of mutual trust, shared values, and aligned interests.
The ministers also discussed cooperation between Armenia and the European Union, focusing on the effective use of existing mechanisms to advance a new, more ambitious strategic agenda.
In addition, Mirzoyan and Bettel exchanged views on current regional developments.
