Armenia may re-arrest fugitive general Grigory Khachaturov

Armenia may again arrest Major General Grigory Khachaturov, former commander of the Armed Forces’ Third Army Corps.

A motion has been filed seeking Khachaturov’s re-arrest, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

The request was submitted on April 14 and assigned to Judge Meri Mosinyan, according to Datalex.am.

Khachaturov is accused of abuse of power, bribery, and exceeding official authority.

The former military official is currently outside Armenia.

He was placed on a wanted list in November last year.
