Armenia plans military parade in Yerevan ahead of elections

Armenian authorities are preparing to organise a military parade in Yerevan on May 28 to commemorate the Day of the First Republic.

The information was reported by the Yerevan-based newspaper Hraparak and cited by Caliber.Az.

According to the publication, the Armenian Ministry of Defence has already issued instructions to military units to select appropriate servicemen and servicewomen who will participate in the parade.

The report notes that the event is scheduled to take place ten days before the upcoming elections in Armenia and is expected to form part of pre-election publicity activities.
