Armenia recalls ambassador from Lebanon

Armenia has recalled its ambassador to Lebanon, Vahagn Atabekyan.

The recall follows a presidential decree issued by Vahagn Khachaturyan upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.

Atabekyan had served as ambassador in Beirut since November 2018.

Armenia and Lebanon established diplomatic relations in 1992, and the Armenian embassy in Beirut has been operating since 1994.
