Armenia removes Mount Ağrı from passport stamps VIDEO

Since November 1, Armenian passports have been featuring a new entry/exit stamp.

Social media users have shared videos showing that the image of Mount Ağrı has been removed from the entry and exit stamps of Armenia, News.am reports.

The decision was made on September 11.

According to the new regulation, the date stamp will now display the words “HAYASTAN” and “ARMENIA” in Armenian and English, the name of the state border checkpoint, the day, month, and year of crossing the border, the control mark number, the entry/exit mark, the calendar stamp number, and distinguishing signs for air, rail, or road checkpoints, respectively.
