Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee investigates Pashinyan ally over corruption
24 December 2025 10:50
Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee has turned its attention to the “elite” real estate holdings of Hayk Konjoryan, head of the Civil Contract parliamentary faction.
Investigators are examining whether there is any corruption involved in a recent property transaction highlighted by the press, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
According to Armenian media, Kondjoryan purchased a two-story house in the village of Arinj for around $140,000, significantly below market value, allowing him to take advantage of an income tax refund law.
The lawmaker later stated that he bought the property at market price and clarified that the property is not a mansion, but a townhouse.
