Armenia's ex-defence chief acquires luxury mansion in USA PHOTO
Former Armenian MP Arman Babajanyan has said that former Defence Minister Vigen Sargsyan purchased a mansion worth $2.5 million in the American city of Belmont in Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
The politician posted a document on Facebook confirming the purchase of the mansion, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.
"This document confirms that former Defence Minister Vigen Sargsyan, who previously held important positions in the Armenian Defence Ministry, the presidential administration, and was nominated by the Republican Party of Armenia as a candidate for the post of prime minister in 2018, purchased a mansion for $ 2.5 million in the city of Belmont in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, in May 2022.
Vigen Sargsyan and his wife Lusine Galajyan already live in a mansion at 48 Amherst Road, Belmont, Massachusetts 02478.
I will not go into further detail here: what amount, with whom, and how Vigen Sargsyan transferred a sizable sum from Armenia to the United States," Babajanyan wrote.
