Armenia’s GDP grows 6% in first half of 2026

Armenia’s GDP grew by approximately 6% (5.96%) in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025, according to data from the country’s Statistical Committee.
The data indicated that Armenia's GDP increased by 5.2% in the first quarter and by 6.7% in the second quarter, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
In absolute terms, Armenia’s GDP amounted to approximately 5.2 trillion drams ($14.4 billion) in the first half of 2026.
As previously reported, agricultural output declined by 11.9% during the same period, while industrial output increased by 10.8%, construction by 24.5%, and services, including IT, by 11%.
Trade turnover grew by 0.9%.
