02 June 2026 13:57
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has described his recent telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin as positive, noting that the Russian side appears to have initiated the call.
“He called to congratulate me on my birthday. We talked about matters, and we had a positive conversation,” Pashinyan said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
His remarks suggest that the Kremlin initiated the contact, although no further details were provided regarding the topics discussed.
Earlier, on June 1, the Kremlin press service confirmed that a telephone conversation had taken place between the leaders of Armenia and Russia.
