Armenia’s security chief says TRIPP project vital for regional peace
Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, has highlighted the strategic significance of the TRIPP project, a 42-kilometre section of the Zangezur corridor running through Armenian territory.
Speaking to international media and experts from analytical centres, Grigoryan said the project is “key to strengthening peace and stability in the region,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
During the meeting, he also addressed broader regional security issues and recalled the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8, stressing that TRIPP plays a central role in reinforcing the ongoing peace and stability efforts.
Grigoryan later responded to questions from journalists and analysts.
