11 September 2026 14:01
Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Armen Simonyan has said that no talks have been held regarding his planned trip to Baku, Azerbaijan, and that such a visit is not currently under discussion.
Earlier, speaking about a meeting in Dilijan between former Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Hikmet Hajiyev, Azerbaijani Presidential Aide, Simonyan said he did not rule out a visit to Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
“I do not rule out the possibility that I will make such a visit myself. I cannot provide any timeframe or specific details,” he noted.
He added that “there is an agreement to hold another meeting”, although no specific date has yet been set.
