Armenia secretly responds to Russian embassy note
The Armenian Foreign Ministry has responded to the Russian embassy's note urging an explanation for accusations that Russia is involved in the Surmalu market blast in Yerevan, however, the content is secret.
"The content is part of the diplomatic correspondence, and it is wrong to disclose it," Armenian media reports citing the ministry's press secretary, Vahan Hunanyan, according to Caliber.Az.
On August 17, the Russian Embassy in Armenia issued a statement in which it sharply condemned the rumours and comments being circulated in the Armenian information space that Russian structures were involved in the explosion in the Yerevan shopping centre Surmalu (Surmeli).
The corresponding note was also sent by the Russian Embassy to the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
