Armenia seeks stable relations, rejects idea of breaking with allies, FM says

Armenia has no intention of “divorcing” any of its partners, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said, emphasising that such an approach lies outside the country’s foreign policy doctrine. 

Mirzoyan stated that the country does not envisage severing ties with any of its partners and does not consider such a concept applicable to its diplomatic practice, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

“We are not going to ‘divorce’ any of our partners. Our policy and diplomacy throughout history have not recognised such ‘divorces.’ We also do not intend to create tensions in Armenian-Russian relations,” he said.
