Armenia seeks to expand agricultural exports to US, ambassador says

Armenia aims to increase exports of agricultural products to the US market, Armenian Ambassador to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan has stated after holding a productive meeting with Daniel Whitley, administrator of the US Foreign Agricultural Service.

He said the talks focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

"The main topics of discussion included opportunities for exporting Armenian agricultural products to the US market, expanding Armenia-US cooperation in agriculture, and establishing business ties between private-sector companies from both countries," the Armenian diplomat noted.
