Armenia to convene reservists for regular training camps
Armenia has announced the organization of regular training camps for its reservists, as confirmed by a decision made during a government meeting.
The training camp is scheduled to run from February 4 to April 18, 2025. It will involve a range of personnel, including privates, warrant officers, and reserve officers, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
The Ministry of Defence of Armenia has posted the respective draft decision on the unified website for the publicizing of draft legal acts.
The adoption of this draft decision is due to the need to improve the military skills, training, and retraining of the first group of Armenia’s reservists, and, if necessary, to include them in combat duty.
Each reservist shall partake in these training camps for no more than 25 calendar days.
Earlier, Armenia announced mobilisation of reservists from April 15 to July 15. The decision was confirmed during a meeting of the Armenian government. Training camps of reservists are held in Armenia on a regular basis by certain groups.
