Armenia to establish service ensuring security of communications
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that in the near future, a special service will be created in Armenia's law enforcement system, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media outlet "Aysor".
He made the statement at the Silk Road International Conference held in Tbilisi, adding that the function of this service will be to ensure the security of international couriers, their cargoes, vehicles and people travelling through Armenia.
According to Pashinyan, patrol police will also be involved in this work. The premier said Armenia is now working on a draft peace treaty with Azerbaijan.
"I hope that this process will be successfully finalised in the coming months," Pashinyan said.
It should be noted that within the framework of the visit to Tbilisi, he is scheduled to meet with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili.
