Bayraktar drone foils forest fire arsonists in Türkiye’s Adana Video
Three individuals have been arrested in connection with a series of forest fires in the Sarıçam district of Türkiye, after being tracked and identified through footage captured by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
In response to recurring fires in the Yarımca neighbourhood, local authorities deployed trail cameras and launched aerial monitoring using the Bayraktar TB2 drone, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.
On the evening of July 25, the drone detected a fire within two minutes and swiftly alerted ground teams.

Footage shows the UAV tracking a suspicious vehicle shortly after the blaze was identified.
Acting on information from the Regional Forest Directorate, gendarmerie officers intercepted the vehicle and detained the three suspects.
Following questioning, the individuals were charged with causing the fire and subsequently remanded in custody by the court.
The case highlights the growing role of advanced drone technology in combating forest fires across Türkiye.
