Governor: One killed, four injured in Ukrainian attack on Samara region

One person was killed, and four others were injured in a Ukrainian attack on Russia’s Samara Region, regional Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said.

“I regret to report that one person was killed as a result of the vile Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the territory of the Samara Region. This is a grave and irreparable loss. I extend my sincere condolences to the victim’s family and loved ones,” Fedorishchev wrote.

The injured are receiving the necessary medical assistance, while emergency services and an operational headquarters are working at the sites of the incidents.

Fedorishchev said authorities were continuing to gather information about the consequences of the attack.
