Armenia to host Armenian-Turkish business forum in October

Armenia is set to host the next Armenian-Turkish business forum in early October, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said.

Speaking to Armenia’s Public Television, Mirzoyan said the previous business forum, held in the Turkish city of Kars during the summer, had been highly successful and attracted a substantial Armenian delegation.

"At the proposal of the Turkish side and with our agreement, we plan to hold the next business forum in Armenia," Mirzoyan said.

He added that the event is expected to take place in early October.

The announcement follows a June meeting in Kars between representatives of the Turkish and Armenian business communities, which was held in a business-to-business (B2B) format.
