Armenia to host joint military exercises with US

The Armenian Defence Ministry has said that Armenia-US Eagle Partner 2024 military exercise will be held in Armenia on July 15-24.

"The Eagle Partner 2024 joint military exercise between Armenia and the United States will take place in Armenia from July 15 to July 24. It aims to prepare participants for international peacekeeping missions. The exercise involves members from Armenia's peacekeeping brigade, the US Army Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard. Activities will emphasise tasks related to stabilising situations between opposing parties in peacekeeping operations," Caliber.Az reports citing the Russian media.

"The exercise aims to improve the coordination of units involved in global peacekeeping operations, share effective strategies for command and tactical communication, and enhance the readiness of the Armenian unit," the message says.

The Armenia-US Eagle Partner 2024 military exercise is a collaborative training initiative aimed at enhancing cooperation between Armenian and US military forces. Scheduled to take place in Armenia, the exercise focuses on improving joint operational capabilities, exchanging military tactics and procedures, and fostering mutual readiness for international peacekeeping missions.
