Armenia to join CIS heads of government meeting at deputy PM level
Armenia is set to participate in the upcoming Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Council of Heads of Government session scheduled to take place in Minsk, Belarus, with representation at the Deputy Prime Minister level.
The announcement was made by Pavel Utyupin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, who outlined the expected attendance, Caliber.Az reports, citing Belarus media.
“We are anticipating the presence of heads of government from CIS member states. Nearly all are expected to attend in person and be represented at the highest governmental level. At the Deputy Prime Minister level, Armenia and Turkmenistan will be participating in the meetings,” Utyupin stated.
Armenian media outlets have corroborated this information, with the office of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan confirming that he will join the meeting remotely.
