Armenia to skip CSTO drills in Kyrgyzstan

The Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) has said Armenia will not participate in the CSTO Interaction-2024 exercise.

Command and staff exercise with CSTO "Interaction - 2024" and special exercise with forces and means of intelligence "Search - 2024" will be held from September 3 to 15 in Kyrgyzstan, Caliber.Az reports, citing CSTO press service.

Various units from Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, as well as operational groups of the CSTO Secretariat and Joint Staff will take part in the exercise.

"The Armenian side has informed that it has no plans to participate in the exercise," the statement said.
