Armenia to suspend passport issuance in Russia from October 5

Armenia’s embassy and consular offices in Russia will temporarily suspend passport issuance from October 5, the diplomatic mission said.

According to Sputnik Armenia, the suspension is linked to the introduction of a new biometric system for identity documents in Armenia.

The embassy said it would provide further information on when the relevant services would resume.
