Armenia, Türkiye explore direct cooperation in energy sector

David Khudatyan, Armenia’s minister of territorial administration and infrastructure, held a meeting in Paris with Alparslan Bayraktar, the minister of energy and natural resources of Türkiye.

According to Khudatyan, quoted by Armenpress, the talks followed up on a previous meeting between the two sides that took place in Istanbul in June last year.

“Continuing the meeting that took place in Istanbul in June last year, we discussed opportunities for cooperation between Armenia and Türkiye in the energy sector,” Khudatyan said.

“Emphasising the readiness of both countries to develop direct cooperation in the energy sector, we discussed further steps and technical details,” he added.
