Armenia, UK agree on strategic partnership to counter modern threats
Armenia and the United Kingdom have agreed to raise their bilateral relations to the level of a strategic partnership.
According to Caliber.Az, citing Armenian media, the press office of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry confirmed the development following a meeting in Yerevan between Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and UK Minister of State for Europe and North America, Stephen Doughty.
“The parties agreed to upgrade their relations to a strategic partnership. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in security and defence, including plans for future high-level contacts, the exchange of military attachés on defence matters, and closer collaboration in cybersecurity and countering hybrid threats,” the statement said.
