Armenia, US discuss strengthening economic partnership

Acting Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan met with US Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President Khush Choksy on August 10 to discuss prospects for strengthening bilateral trade and economic ties, the Armenian Foreign Ministry has said.

It noted that the two sides focused on cooperation in agriculture, energy and information technology, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

They exchanged views on strengthening institutional cooperation in these areas and emphasised the importance of progress achieved in Armenian-US bilateral relations in recent years and the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
