Armenia, US officials discuss implementation of TRIPP project

Armenia’s engagement with the United States on the Trump Road to International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative took centre stage during a meeting between Sargis Khandanyan, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of Armenia, and a US congressional delegation led by Lance Kokonos, a professional staff representative of the US Congress Foreign Affairs Committee.

Welcoming the delegation, Khandanyan highlighted the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States and emphasised the importance of advancing the TRIPP project. The officials exchanged views on the next steps required to implement the initiative effectively in the near term, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media. 

The Armenian official briefed the delegation on recent developments in the normalisation of relations with neighbouring Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
