Armenia, US sign comprehensive strategic partnership charter

Armenia and the United States have signed a Charter on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during a meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Yerevan.

The sides also signed a framework agreement on cooperation under the TRIPP project, as well as a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the extraction and processing of minerals, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

The signing ceremony took place at Zvartnots International Airport.

Rubio arrived in the Armenian capital with his wife, Janet, for a brief visit en route from India to Washington.
