12 June 2026 14:57
Armenia's anti-corruption authorities are investigating allegations of vote-buying involving a member of the regional headquarters of the opposition Prosperous Armenia party in the Lori region.
Law enforcement agencies received information indicating that a party representative in the Vanadzor district may have offered money to citizens in exchange for voting for the political force, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
The individual is also alleged to have recruited other people willing to participate in the scheme.
Armenia's Anti-Corruption Committee said it had obtained information supporting the allegations and has released additional audio recordings as part of the ongoing investigation.
