Armenian edition "Hraparak” has said that Armenia's Investigative Committee purchased a software program worth about $70,000, which will now allow faster tracking of social networks.
"28 million 326 thousand drams were paid from the state budget for the purchase of the project, the purchase was made from Microring Ltd. The program is called Maltego. This computer program is a very powerful information collection system. It allows searching any information on social network pages, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers. The location of a wanted person can also be determined with the help of this program.
In other words, with the help of this program it is possible to conduct intelligence activities in open sources of the Internet, to find out, for example, how many people have spread 'calls for violence' against Nikol Pashinyan, etc.," the report says, Caliber.Az reports.
