Armenian authorities detain 10 in election bribery case

Ten supporters of the Prosperous Armenia party have been detained in the city of Vanadzor on suspicion of involvement in the giving and receiving of pre-election bribes, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.

The detentions were carried out by law enforcement authorities, who allege that the individuals were engaged in illegal activities related to electoral bribery.

According to official information, three of the detained individuals have been formally placed under arrest, while one has been assigned to house arrest as part of the ongoing investigation.
