Armenian authorities intensify probe into ex-Karabakh separatist leader
Former Karabakh separatist leader Samvel Shahramanyan has received a second summons to appear before the Armenian Investigative Committee, with his interrogation scheduled for June 27.
According to Yerevan-based Zhokhovurd newspaper, the interrogations of Shahramanyan are intensifying, and it is possible that the process “will end with his arrest”, Caliber.Az reports.
The investigation concerns allegations of official negligence and the possible surrender of ammunition during the Azerbaijani attack in September 2023.
“The investigative body is conducting an investigation into official negligence and the possible surrender of ammunition during the Azerbaijani attack in September 2023. The case was initiated based on a report by separatist Samvel Babayan,” the publication noted.
