Armenian bishop: Azerbaijani president taught us a lesson
Head of the Shirak Diocese Bishop Mikael Ajapahian has said that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev taught Armenians a lesson.
“As for the rhetoric of Azerbaijani President Aliyev, to whom we contrast our calls for peace and our statements about the crossroads of the world, I can say that Aliyev is doing very right. He shows us how we should have behaved in 1994 when we won," Ajapahian stated during an interview with the Armenian media, Caliber.Az reports.
“Ilham Aliyev teaches us a good lesson and shows all the fighters who fought in 1994 how to act. President Aliyev teaches a lesson by saying that a winner never stops and will only stop when he wants to, not when the other side asks him to. Of course, Aliyev will formulate his demands more and more softly, but they will become more and more stringent. He will demand enclaves, demand a corridor, demand the return of the Turks, etc.,” said the Armenian bishop.
