Armenian blogger condemns separatist leaders for martial law in Karabakh
Armenian activist and blogger Ishkhan Verdyan has condemned the separatist gang leaders' martial law decision in part of Karabakh, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed.
“Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree introducing martial law in Karabakh. The free movement of citizens will be restricted, meetings and strikes will be banned, any information deemed anti-state will be blocked. To implement martial law, an operational headquarters has been created, Ruben Vardanyan has been appointed chief of staff,” Verdyan wrote on social media, Caliber.Az reports.
“The terrorist group is starting direct repressions against ordinary people. Every second of their stay in Karabakh is fraught with disaster,” he added.
Verdyan stands for the soonest establishment of peace by Armenia with Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
