Armenian Defence Ministry denies Turkish drone incursion over Gyumri

The Armenian Ministry of Defence has denied reports claiming that the country's airspace was violated by a Turkish drone.

The ministry's press service issued a statement on the matter, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

"The information circulating on social media, accompanied by a video allegedly showing a drone crossing Armenia's airspace, does not correspond to reality," the statement reads.

The report of a Turkish UAV incursion was initially published by Oragir.News. According to journalists, on the evening of January 26, the drone was reportedly seen in the airspace over the city of Gyumri.
